ELPLAST, a global manufacturer of press to close zippers for flexible packaging, expands it's ECO-ZIP product range with Braskem's I'm green™ polyethylene. While traditional polyethylenes use fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas, I'm green™ Polyethylene is a plastic produced from ethanol sugarcane which is a renewable raw material. This helps facilitate the capture of C02 from the atmosphere during the growth period, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and therefore ultimately reducing our carbon footprint.
