There is no global economy without plastic packaging. But 95% of plastic packaging material value, or USD 80–120 billion annually, is lost to the economy after a short first use - only 14% of plastic packaging is collected for recycling. That’s why we created EL-ZIP® ECO Zipper. Our zipper is compatible with most compostable films, like NatureFlex™. NatureFlex™ by Futamura is bio-film derived from readily renewable cellulose, sourced only from responsibly managed plantations and fully biodegradable and compostable.
